IMPORTANT - International Import Fees
almost 7 years ago – Sun, Jun 11, 2017 at 10:29:50 PM

Hello everyone,

We would like to point it out again about International Import Fees. Import fees are any fees that national and local governments charge whenever you buy imported goods. These can include national and local sales taxes, duties, GST, VAT, etc. Some fees are charged as a percentage of the price of the item and some are flat fees.

You must pay import fees to receive your order. If you refuse to accept delivery, the package will be returned to your local customs office, not to EXYRA. If the fees are not paid in a timely manner, the package will be classified as abandoned and might be destroyed. And we cannot issue refunds for abandoned or destroyed merchandise.

We cannot estimate what the charges may be since Customs and taxation policies vary widely from country to country. For further details, please contact your destination local customs office or visit their official website.

Track your shipment.

EXYRA uses Aus-Post as our sole international shipping partner. Upon shipment, an e-mail will be sent to you containing the tracking number. You can track the progress of your package anytime at https://m.auspost.com.au/view/tracking.

All shipping time provided is only an estimate and transit time may differ during peak season.

If you have any questions or concerns in this regards, please send us a message, and we help you from there.

Cheers!

Carlyn.

Finalize addresses - Custom, duties or VAT.
almost 7 years ago – Sun, Jun 04, 2017 at 11:26:12 PM

Hello everyone,

We start finalizing your address for shipment today. So please let us know if you need to update your address.

We received few inquiries concerning about custom, duties/fee or VAT.

In some cases, there will be VAT (Value Added Tax), other taxes, customs duties and/or fees levied by your destination country. These additional charges for taxes or customs clearance charges are the responsibility of the recipient. Unfortunately, we cannot estimate what the charges may be since customs and taxation policies vary widely from country to country. For further details, please contact your destination local customs office or visit their official website. In some cases, customs clearance procedures are required; under these circumstances, delays may occur, which will affect our delivery estimation time. Due to customs regulatory policies, please note that we are unable to list purchased items as a gift or write an amount lower than the actual product price.

If you have any questions or concerns in this regards, please send us a message, and we help you from there.

Thank you,

Production update, lens fitting and shipping
almost 7 years ago – Mon, May 29, 2017 at 08:54:07 PM

Hello everyone,

It's been a while since our last update. We have been busy sorting out production and the shipment back to Australia. Good news that the first shipment has arrived safely and the frames now are being fitted with the lenses in our small optical lab in Brisbane.

With the number of staff we have right now, we could try fitting 10-15 frames a day (one hour/frame typically). It will take a little bit longer for prescription and magnification. But if everything goes smooths, we will start shipping them out by next week and fulfilled all orders by the end of June. Also, starting early next week, we will begin to finalize your shipping address, so if you are planning to change your address in the next couple of months, please let us know.

Backer Survey

We still have about 36 backers that still need to fill out the survey. If you have any problem with the survey, please let us know or contact directly our friend from backer kit.

Social Media

We often update the progress through social media so don't forget to follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. And soon we will have social media competition so stay tuned.

Production Update.

We are working hard to keep track with production time, and at the moment we still looking for delivery in end of May to early June. Here are few pics from our production in China.

Backer kit survey

For those that haven’t had a chance to complete their survey, we can only reserve few glasses with our first batch of orders, so please complete the survey as soon as possible because it will cause delay to your delivery. And If anyone is still having issues with the survey or haven’t received them, please let us know immediately.

That’s all for now, and thank you for your support.
